1 Chronicles 28:2-5 GNB . . .David stood before them and addressed them: "My friends, listen to me. I wanted to build a permanent home for the Covenant Box [the Ark of the Covenant], the footstool of the LORD  (יהוה) our God. I have made preparations for building a temple to honor him, (3) but he has forbidden me to do it, because I am a soldier [a man of war] and have shed too much blood. (4) The LORD  (יהוה), the God of Israel, chose me and my descendants to rule Israel forever. (Mat 1:1) He chose the tribe of Judah to provide leadership, and out of Judah he chose my father's family. From all that family it was his pleasure to take me and make me king over all Israel. (5) He gave me many sons, and out of them all he chose Solomon to rule over Israel, the LORD  (יהוה)'s kingdom. (Gal 3:26-29)

1 Chronicles 28:2-5 ESV (2) Then King David rose to his feet and said: "Hear me, my brothers and my people. I had it in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD  (יהוה) and for the footstool of our God, and I made preparations for building. (3) But God said to me, 'You may not build a house for my name, for you are a man of war and have shed blood.' (4) Yet the LORD  (יהוה) God of Israel chose me from all my father's house to be king over Israel forever. (Mat 1:1) For he chose Judah as leader, and in the house of Judah my father's house, and among my father's sons he took pleasure in me to make me king over all Israel. (5) And of all my sons (for the LORD  (יהוה) has given me many sons) he has chosen Solomon my son to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the LORD  (יהוה) over Israel. (Gal 3:26-29)

1 Chronicles 28:2-5 CEV (2) After everyone was there, David stood up and said: Listen to me, my people. I wanted to build a place where the sacred chest would be kept, so we could go there and worship the LORD  (יהוה) our God. I have prepared all the supplies for building a temple, (3) but the LORD  (יהוה) has refused to let me build it, because he said I have killed too many people in battle. (4) The LORD  (יהוה) God chose Judah to be the leading tribe in Israel. Then from Judah, he chose my father's family, and from that family, he chose me to be the king of Israel, and he promised that my descendants will also rule as kings. (Mat 1:1) (5) The LORD  (יהוה) has blessed me with many sons, but he chose my son Solomon to be the next king of Israel. (Gal 3:26-29)

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
